Capasanta Chair

When designing the Capasanta Chair, the biggest concern on my mind was to have comfort as a reader. I thought of the different positions in which people sit on a chair and I wanted to create something that could work for them all. 

The Capasanta Chair has a very classic silhouette, allowing it to be a very universal piece, but the plush material and the velvety fabric make it warm and inviting. The name of the chair comes from the scalloped back which adds dimension and makes the chair more unique. ​

Because of the classic nature of the shape it allows for more character to be brought into the fabric - using a purple velvet would give it a completely different feeling than using a dark blue or an off-white color. It could become a marvelous accent piece or blend in with the rest of your furniture.
