New Orleans, Louisiana

Two years ago I had planned to go to New Orleans for my 21st birthday. I was supposed to leave on March 19th, but three days before that the whole world shut down, everyone was panicking and the beginning of the long lockdown began. Needless to say, I had to cancel my trip. 

Two years (and a couple of months later) and I finally had the opportunity to go! I was extremely thrilled. I picked up the travel book that had just been collecting dust until this moment and planned everything that I wanted to do.

New Orleans is an amazing city filled with color, music, and delicious food. Walking around in the morning you are able to experience the calm and quiet streets filled with sunlight and greenery, but once late morning comes around the streets start getting filled and they keep filling until late into the night. 

The abundant culture that one can find there is beautiful and is what makes the city so lively. Every corner has something to see, hear or taste.
